1. I was going to say the band or perhaps the management have possibly made it very clear to the likes of YouTube etc that anything featuring new leaked material wasn't to be allowed but that doesn't explain how it's not made its way onto the illegal download sites unless there's ways to block it at source from being shared but I don't think that's possible is it? So maybe the security on the day of the video shoot has been extra strict and maybe more importantly the actual team working on the video shoot might be more trustworthy and warned about leaking anything.
  2. I had one but it can't record if I'm correct

I don't think anyone did sneak in recording material so not surprised nothing has leaked as for audio.
  3. Maybe the date in the letter was "blacked-out" because it just wasn't the right date
  4. It means they can choose any date they like...like 2019 when they shelve it
  5. What if the letter says U2 will announce The 4th leg of The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 on 17/08/29

Android Wear watches can, not sure about Apple

Were you sitting at the little restaurant before the shoot?

I don't think anyone wanted to sneak in equipment with the risk of not getting in. And no one wants to cheat on their favourite band.
  8. Should have tried it haha. Anyways I wouldn't have leaked it anyway, I wouldn't ruin this for my band indeed!!

I was! For a short bit.

Yeah i know I wouldn't be chancing it with the possibility to hear new u2 material. I wonder in the past though how much of the leaks has come from within u2's own team, the people working alongside them that are supposed to be trustworthy.
