  1. I prefer the other mix it sounds more cohesive a bit plainer and being the light hearted pop tune this track is it benefits from that mix style imo.
  2. great video, the song? Oh dear friends i expected a rock song but we have a song already heard, ok it was a mix by a norwegian dj, no complete lyric but the refrain is the same. I'm very sad, i was dreaming about a rock song, something more of "the blackout". I think is one of the worst song of u2. Awaiting the album in december, the other 9 or 10 or 11 songs will change my opinion for sure, the indoor tour too. Oh these are not my "u2"

    What is "your U2"? Cause "my U2" is a rock band that dabbles in any and all genres but somehow still manages to have a "soud"....

    To mirror the sentiments of others: The Sci-Fi Soul mix is way better. WAY better. WAAAAAAY better. Like wow, what a difference. Not a fan of those "THE BEST THING" backing vocals and strings every now and then though. Cheese. This song needed more time in the can, or less depending on your outlook.

  7. I just realised the sci fi mix is actually a thing I thought people were joking around. I'd say that's an improvement at least.

  9. I don't understand that people are saying the Sci-Fi Soul Mix is way better. I don't think there is much difference between the Sci-Fi Soul Mix and the album version. The intro of the Sci-Fi Soul Mix is different. But the album version has better drums. The chorus and ending are identical to me.
    It's not certain the Sci-Fi Soul Mix will end up on Songs Of Experience. Maybe on the deluxe. But no album news today unfortunately.

    "my u2" are not u2 of boots and this last song, horrible, except the video. Look man, i'm 57 and i heard them first time during a holiday in spain with a cassette in the car, i mean i will follow, out of control, tuf, you can't convince me that this song is of u2, please, "blackout" was ok , is ok , next ten or eleven songs of SOE will be perfect, i'm sure, but this one , except the video, is a crap, imo.

    Maybe because they were a little more subdued in the phone recordings
