Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75
  1. Come on people
First time playing song compared to 100th time?
Its going to evolve and everyone will play it more confidently.
Bullett was awesome (because they have played it every night of the tour)

    I agree 100%

Compare this with the Joel’s Holland songs.... This one sounds terrible. And I wasn’t a fand of California and Volcanoe but they sounded afaaaaar better imo

Disagree 100%. California sounded like shit on Jools Holland, and Volcano is a pretty "meh" song to begin with.

This song was way more peppy and performed a lot better. Bono sounded a bit tired here, but at least he was on key (not like the California performance).
  6. FYI
Best Thing has been number 2 on hot tracks on iTunes music since it came out. That's based on plays for people who have iTunes music.
So people as listening to it. Taylor Swift and new Sam Smith song are only songs getting more

Jeez. Not that I care, but Taylor Swift's new song is revolting and Sam Smith sucks in general. Just sayin'.
  8. I'm 45 been a fan since 83. My younger friends I play music with are 23-29 and they love the new song.
Will it be one of my favorites a year from now? No but neither was Beautiful Day when it came out.
u2 want to be played on radio, not a bad ambition so they wrote a pop song.
I think this song has legs.
Will be interesting to see where it's played in set next few months. I think it needs to be played on small stage to open encore.

I continue to respectfully disagree haha I thought Bono and Edges Harmony grated on this one sorry haha

I guess I just have to accept I don't like this song :/ It just doesn't encapsulate what I love about U2 for me personally. Just a bit naff.

For the record I am also one of these "younger" fans they are trying to reach.
  10. Reading comments on YouTube on the Jimmy Fallon uploads, I don't know why I scrolled down but....
What is it with people and the quote "WTF happend to U2"

I can see that being a response but most likely that person didn't hear Song for Somone
I really believe that's why we got The Blackout last week so it had two songs that would appeal to different crowds.

First mistake: read YouTube comments. I did the same thing it's just toxic and idiotic.
