And I hope they finish -at least- the last of the bunch with "40".

Superb graph, really thought-provoking. The problem with taking these shows to 'less wealthy' countries is, I suppose, that the overheads remain the same because the majority of the staff and the gear comes from the USA/ Europe. If U2 show up and charge pennies to see them playing on the back of a lorry then they'd be accused of disrespect. It comes down to whether people want to hear the music at or see the show.
One thing that has become very clear to me anyway over the past few tours, is that there are a lot of very wealthy U2 fans - 'super fans' or whatever - around, attending dozens of gigs around the world, with a fair degree of access to the band and associated media coverage and self-promotion on social media. Good luck to them; I would probably do the same thing if I won the Lotto. It is a world away from the kind of ethos U2 had in the earlier years though, and a world your average Joe in Bogota or Sao Paolo hasn't a hope of accessing. Not even that far away. I'm sure there are U2 fans in Dublin that can't afford to see U2 play in Dublin anymore!

The major issue with some of the South American shows is they actually charged more than they were charging in Europe and North America. Not just more as a % Of earnings but physically more money. So the poorest countries are paying the biggest ticket prices on the tour, crazy.

I'm gonna die in the next days
