Trying to avoid listening/watching anything from E & I so far apart from following setlists,

but wondered if Bono still does this spoken word part at the beginning of the song or snippets anything else during Love Is Bigger in the encore?
That's from Father and Son by Cat Stevens isn't it?
  2. Yeah, it is.
  3. Yep, this is the best acoustic track we've heard so far.
  4. If the moonlight caught you crying on Killiney Bay
    Oh, sing your song
    Let your song be sung
If you listen you can hear the silence say
    "When you think you're done
    You've just begun"

    THAT is a great bridge.
  5. You know... Love Is Bigger had stopped giving me these constant goosebumps that appeared from the very first listen to Rob's crappy stream of the by-then unreleased album. I still loved the song and it's on my Top20 ever, sure, but the goosebumps weren't there anymore since a couple of weeks ago.

But they're back. The acoustic version brought them back.

    WHAT A SONG. ♥
  6. I'm fairly surprised by the generic thunkathunkathunka of the remixes : given that the remixers are in that genre, and had just the vocal stems, I'm not surprised : though you could do a fabulous ambient/extended version (and you could interpolate "Stay" into the riff as a second coda, if you wanted). They should have given it to Mogwai to remix. They're really missing out with some of the dull remixes here.

I’m a little confused. You say you are surprised and then not surprised in the same sentence?

I love the Funk Hunters Remix. I think it is very good and doesn’t change upbthe song too much.

Who is Mogwai? What kind of remix would you expect from them?

I'm surprised by who they asked to do the mixes because the track is quite far away from their normal style, and not surprised by the remixers they delivered generic bouncy mixes.

Mogwai are a Scottish post rock band, lots of big instrumental stuff that is fairly atmospheric and LIBTAIIW reminds me of some of their songs. And vice versa.
