  2. It’s all supposed to get TM and LiveNation more data of fans, nothing to do with anti scalping. Why else have hard copy tickets etc?

    I just thought the same earlier today. If it's hardcover, who keeps anyone from reselling them.
  4. What an utter mess. I understand why everyone is annoyed and angry. This must be like what the non-u2 fans felt like when SOI got downloaded onto their phones.
  6. It eliminates the Bots from buying tickets not individuals from going through process and then obviously can re sell which is fine. But I’m curious if the ones having issues are re newed for 2018. Because I bet it’s people who are not more then that are.

    I'm renewed through August 2018, so I'll let you know tomorrow if I have an issue...
  9. I have just disconnected my U2.com account from the North American Ticketmaster verification process. I will only be using a presale code for European dates and I don't want to take the chance that any connection to today/tomorrow's presale will mess things up.

  11. I think the lottery system will be used in Europe too, I've no hopes things will be different on this side of the ocean, nothing to do with a verified fan system, ticketmaster whatever.
