If you think U2 has a shred of involvement in their own event ticketing, you are incorrect. This is not 1997; Larry isn't running the shirt shop anymore. This band is 100% managed and bound by contracts with Live Nation that screw you and me over.

True, from one point of view, but false from multiple obvious differences in opinion. Everybody reading this understands the legal side or most everybody lol. It took the four in U2 to sign the contracts. Do they care about us? Probably more than we think but at their age, they probably are just letting Dead Nation fumble and bumble their way to screwing a few fans along the way as the cash cow known as a U2 fills pockets with both clean and dirty money.
  2. Anyone know if an unused JT presale code will work for this tour ?

Trying to help someone get tix and never used my JT code

    Thx
  3. It has everything to do with U2 .
They chose to sell their soul to Live Nation without consideration of the impact upon the fans
  4. The boat sailed with the Live Nation / Ticketmaster merger. It should never have been approved by DoJ. Those of us in Europe need to make sure our competition law continues to be enforced. It's why TM does not have a monopoly here.

    No
  6. Question - I know the deadline for the pre-order presale is 30th November but is it the same for Fanclub subscribers? Was planning on upgrading next month? Will I still be eligible for the European shows?
  7. Glad you got the code Nicole

(wish I never had an email... )
