I know my Experience and Innocence or perhaps Experience and Guilt with sarcasm may cause some to not take this post seriously, but I see a Classless Action Lawsuit on the Horizon. I will Sue U2 for $360. Not really trying to get money, but attention, I will cite the undue stress I had to endure by not getting my text message or code to my email.
I will also sue for a 100 disc Blu Ray set covering every possible performance available, and having Bernie Grundman oversee the audio transfer. And a 200 cd set with all the outtakes, demos, etc, again with Bernie doing the sound. This would be the free subscriber gift for anyone who has ever been a subscriber from 2000 and later, and would be $25 for the membership. All new subscribers could get this for $1000.
I also would demand a exclusive tour for U2.com subscribers where you could get two tickets, at $25 each. This would be held at all the arenas where people did not get codes, emails, or the ability to participate in the "Verified Scam" process. Tickets would be available to those affected 3 months before the show, and after that period, new subscribers could get tickets at $50. Then, the public could participate at $300 a ticket. This would help U2 get some money to make all those Blu Rays in the lawsuit get in the mail quicker. Perhaps Cash McCashess, former U2 Manager would come up with a strategy to get fans to "fork out more cash."
Think this is mere internet banter or frustrating useless conjecture? Nope. I am going to call Morgan & Morgan, and see if I have a case. I also will throw in a nationwide release of the "Las Vegas Pop Mart" at 3,000 theatres nationwide for the price of 36 cents. I have never seen the show, and despite all the mistakes, it is actually a great show from the audio I have heard.
