    You're not "imposing views", this thread is entirely built on a nonsense rumour that has zero credibility. It would be like starting a thread called "Bono to release solo rap album", people calling it stupid and then saying "oh I'm not allowed to speculate about Bono rapping because it's "not positive""?     Christ. This site has too much of this crazy shit going on lately and it's getting unbearable. "Oh we're not allowed to do this because it isn't positive? Oh we're not allowed to have negative opinions?" when did U2Start become a hyper-liberal seminar that's lost common sense? I'm sick of people saying "oh guess I'm not allowed to criticize U2" when it's easy to tell that those of us who have been around here long enough are the ones who criticize the band the most. This site is rife with negative opinions, and there are those who criticize the negative opinions and then get offended when THEY get criticized, and there are those who post negative opinions and then get offended when people call THEM out. People are just getting too damn offended on this site these days. Everyone has always been free to shit on whatever they want, it just seems like recently people are getting offended by the criticism and then getting even more offended because they can't take it back. STOP GETTING SO OFFENDED U2START.

    Not to mention this thread isn't even about opinion, it's about a stupid rumour.
    I wasn't necessarily offended, but I got a bit fed up when I and a few others were being slated for not particularly enjoying SOE. That's why I stopped participating in that album thread, and only intermittently come on here. The concept of opinions got blown out of proportion, there was no rationality or cogency, and I think everyone had a part to play in that. I'm glad you understood a few of my points, I remember that, at least.

    Anyway, this is not therapy, nor is it Interference.

    Pretty much precisely the thread I was mostly referring to, but I was annoyed to see the same mentality seeping into other threads.

    There were those getting slated for not enjoying SOE, but then there were those who were getting "offended" because while they did enjoy it, they took offense to people not enjoying it...for some reason.
