1. I really enjoyed last night's Discotheque episode. I would love to hear more of the theme they ran with.
  2. They were playing Slane songs and some Rotterdam 97 stuff so I’m going to ask to play live songs too ?

  3. Heard new Desire today from a guy in Chicago I think
    He did all Live Songs.
    Fly -2005 Fan Club
All I want is you -2001 Slane
    Gloria -83
Red Flag Day -2018 fan club
    Blackout -2018 fan club
So maybe it’s just they don’t want everyone doing live so some get lucky?
  4. I noted that as well. Really enjoyed his piece!
  5. Heard the ad for Gavin Friday's new show a few times today. Logically, it debuts on Friday (though late at night, 11pm eastern or something like that).

We'll see what it's like, but it's certainly starting off with a bang. (Hooray me.) The ad says this first episode will feature the world debut of U2's cover of Bang A Gong.
  6. Get it On!

I will be grabbing every one of these broadcasts.
Gavin Friday on the radio will be just the best.
He is also on the radio tonight on Dublin City FM 103.2.
Maybe U2 could let him lead the band from now on. I wish.

  9. Listeners in North America can tune into U2 X-Radio this Friday, August 14th for the premiere of Gavin Friday’s new monthly radio show.

The show, called “Gavin Friday presents” will kick off with A Tribute to Hal Willner, the great American music producer who passed away in April this year. Hal Willner was a friend and collaborator of Gavin’s for over thirty years and produced Gavin’s debut solo album, Each Man Kills the Thing He Loves.

“Gavin Friday presents” will air Fridays at 11pm ET, or 8pm Pacific. U2 X-Radio is only available on SiriusXM in Canada and the United States.

Now here is the real rock star! Gavin Friday. Can't wait for this to broadcast.
Just a shame there will be only one a month as this chap will play some great music. And even if he does not, he can hold forth for hours on end.
It is hoped he will release another album soon!
  10. Who?
  11. Anyone listening to the show tonight?
