    I’ve been to 13 shows as well and would put the Berlin crowd that night as #1. I think with the dvd it looks like they’re focusing more on the band than on previous releases which can only be a good thing. That’s what I’ll be buying the dvd for to see the band perform live not to see how much a fan is enjoying themselves.
  2. the Berlin concert makes me think in its shoot to some Led Zeppelin concerts in the 70s! filmed on 35 millimeters and focused on the band. the image is very dark we hardly see the crowd!

    That's exactly how it should be I hate seeing close ups of audience members singing ,wide shots are fine but they really went overboard on the I&E tour DVD and even bringing fans on stage was ridiculous, I'd say Larry put his foot down and said "NO MORE "

  6. only 115.000 viewers in Holland.. I think Paris had close to 400.000 if I remember well.

  8. Well somebody does the lack of fans on stage on the last 2 tours has shown they weren't all entirely comfortable with it on the I&E tour ,people don't pay top dollar to see a bunch of super fans trying to make a name for themselves.

    If they were uncomfortable with it they wouldn’t have done it through the entire I+E tour
  10. Well once they go with a show plan they rarely change it for the tour bar a few exceptions,obviously changing the set list on the E&I tour was a major shift for the band as usually it's set in stone.

    The real reason for U2 to stop pulling fans on stage (on a regular basis) is that one of them sued the band. Apparently. So its legal trouble. Have no further details but that’s what I was told a while ago.
