  1. Thank you for the parking suggestions, I hope they turn out to be better places to park than the last time I came to Manchester to see the Stone Roses where some wanker scratched my bonnet for daring to park for free on the street instead of giving him £20 to park in his poxy car park.
Incidentally we are another father and son duo going but mine has come to at least one date on every tour since Elevation when he was 12 but now he's a teacher we can only manage one on this tour.
  2. Think Red Zone 1 is Edge's side RZ 2 Adam side

Best place to park for the Arena is called total car parks its massive manned by security right across the road on the A56 next to the Travel lodge or of course you can actually park in the arena multi storey car park but can be a pain getting out after the gig if your at the top
  4. Man City V Burnley ......My home town team Burnley that is at 15.00 too will be busy in Manchester Burnley have a big following and only 30 miles from Manchester

  6. I can vouch for steaks at hawksmoor but only been to the London branches . There is a great Indian street food restaurant in Manchester called Tiffin Room
  7. You cant go wrong for food and drinks in Manchester its a fantastic place always plenty going on. Are any u2 starters planning on a meet up anywhere? it would be good to meet some of you guys off here
  8. I'm debating whether to drive up and down or use a hotel and have a few beers
  9. Cheap air bnb and then you can have a few beers. Sorted.
  10. Makes a huge difference, they were also serving mini bottles of wine at the 02 so don't need to keep going to the lavs like when drinking pints of beer

That's great about the them bringing you drink. I saw Noel Gallagher at Manchester a few month back I was upper tier seating and it was honestly a nightmare getting a drink. The Qs were unbelievable
  11. Never used them any good, can't do the Friday night now which is a shame as I paid over the odds for that ticket but am sorted for Saturday night but hotels are all fully booked in central areas

Yep very good. In fact my parents have just come back from a 3 month holiday in Spain, booked an apartment from Airbnb and just stayed out there. Effectively its people/pubs/bnbs renting out their rooms/houses. Quite cheap for a single night too. I'm about to use it again and book somewhere for Birmingham and Bristol.
