I'd say there'd be places in the O2 that are open after an event there. Plenty of places. The O2 is a great venue in my opinion.

I would recommend you to return by boat from the O2 to The London Eye. It’s a beatiful trip sightseen London by night. You take the boat just by the O2.
  3. Hotel bars etc will be open . Canary Wharf will be in reach aswell plenty open there
  4. Hello Dean. I did all O2 Arena gigs in 2015 and the flow of people congestion is constant when leaving the arena. Once on the Tube platform of your choice you will find that the crowd will disperse in all directions. I never experienced much of a delay in whatever direction I was travelling. There are numerous places open to eat all inside the O2 complex.

    [..]
Yes this is true- the tube flows pretty well but it is crowded. I saw arctic monkeys last month and held back in one of the bars in the o2 for about 45 mins and it was clear
  6. Thank you all for the quick feedback. Regarding the boat trip as much as it does sound nice my fiancée wouldn’t be keen on going on a boat but I appreciate the recommendation. Sounds like we’ll have plenty of options then, I think we will just wait a little while after the show and enjoy a few drinks. Thanks again everyone.

    Enjoy the show, enjoy London.
  8. Thanks mate, i appreciate that. We’ve been visiting London once or twice a year for the last few years between concerts and theatre shows and plan on keeping that going, love the place. Never been to the o2 though so this will be a first.
  9. Be prepared that it might take some time to get in, the o2 arena has become health and safety and security obsessed since 2015, so now has airport style security checks, and it can be slow.

Once in the GA bit they are obsessed about people standing on the white line around the edge, and will constantly push you off it or moan at you for standing on it

Given events in London, Manchester, Brussels & Paris it is not surprising that there is increased security. It took a while to get in at these venues but all good humoured and safe,
  11. There have been airport style security checks in Berlin, too.the Area in front of the Arena was also heavily surveilled and I welcome that.
  12. I think we’ll just head in when the gates open, planning on getting to the place around 3-3.30 so we can grab a bite to eat and a drink nearby before hand then what is it 6-6.30 roughly gates open? We’ll just head in at that point.
