It truly baffles me. It's always the same people who are at the front without fail every damn show I've seen. Do they not have jobs or families? Are the band not sick of seeing them all the time? I think they should bring back the lottery system from Elevation so other people get a look in.
  2. Leaving early is when position and status eclipse the experience of seeing the performance. It's nauseating, but they're free to do it as long as the current GA system continues. The band may say they don't like seeing the same faces, but in the end no one has been trampled, there hasn't been any line rioting, and they're still getting paid so...
  3. I totally agree with you. I think if you leave before the concert is over, incredible. It is simply disrespectful to the band and the recognition of their performance. I also disrespect the other fans. Why the hell did they even want a ticket to the entire concert, if they did not want to listen to it completely and watch it?

It also seems strange to me that you only ever see the same ones in front. I've been a fan of U2 since the 1980s and would certainly do a lot, but if you have a family and a working life, then it's just so difficult to attend so often and at every concert. Especially if this happens at such a great distance or when it is within the week.
  4. Its an absolutely ridiculous situation.
Not only do we have unofficial line organisers who start a line whenever it suits them(with no consideration to other fans) they now dictate the following nights line while people are still in arena!!
Agree with unknowncaller98-bring back a lottery system which is fairer or on the day hard queue only.

Agree with this,U2management & local security seem to be quite happy to allow fans to control the GA line.

  6. "Fans"
    It's ridiculous....
  7. Whaaaat
  8. It's not my style either to leave a concert prematurely, but I am very reluctant to judge other people.
Apparently it is their way to enjoy a streak of concerts - and yes, some of them hardly miss anyone of them.
    But it's their choice, right?
  9. What stops me from starting the Berlin line now lol

  10. If they don't play it tonight, then I think they abandoned the Idea completely.
That would be a shame, because it's a beautiful Idea: telling 'the fathers' their sons have 'returned home' . It won't be played in Berlin either, because it doesn't make sense there! (the narrative about returning home I mean).

The only reason they are rehearsing Dirty Day is because of the Berlin DVD
  12. Has a Berlin DVD been confirmed on any official capacity? Seems odd to hedge all bets on a single show that technically wasn’t in the tour itinerary.
