Was there really such a long gap for the JT presale? I seemed to recall it was a matter of just a few days just like with the other two. But yeah, kinda confirms what we said above. Thanks for the info

The JTT must have been announced later. I was on holiday in Japan at that time, I left for Japan on 6 January and I received the e-mail when in Tokyo, on 8 or 9 January. I remember freaking out because I had to rearrange my trip to Kyoto on Wednesday when the presale started.
  4. I've checked the dates on u2.com in the news section.
You can find the news in the news archive. In the announcement info there's info of the presale start date:

    https://www.u2.com/news/title/u2-innocence-experience-tour-2015/news/

    https://www.u2.com/news/title/the-joshua-tree-tour-2017/news/

    https://www.u2.com/news/title/experience--innocence-tour-heading-to-europe/news/

I also thought that the announcement of JTT was later, on Jan 9, but as it's in the news dated Jan 5, it must have been Jan 5.

When does presale always start? It's 10am local time..?
I'm already yawning... I'd have to stay up until 4am for on this day. Perth will be the latest city, due to time difference, 4am
  5. tick tock tick tock......... ( already Metallica have jumped ahead of the game with U2 again asleep at the wheel)

This tour is going to be announced retroactively.
  7. Yawn. Metallica are touring Oz in October. U2 will be a month later. No use selling tickets if everything isn't finalised.
  8. LOL Imagine that: "U2 announces a tour Down Under that has taken place already. Tickets went on sale 3 months ago".
  9. "Fans loved the shows in Auckland, highlighting the return of Love Rescue Me after two decades."
  10. Cue the pitchforks.
  11. Hahahaha
  12. ????
