  5. Does anyone recall U2’s tour history. Before the official tour announcement came out, is there any information would come out first? For example, U2.com members will get the info first then the news.

    No, no one gets any info first publicly. The one thing you will notice though is that in the few days leading up to the announcement, many things will leak as sites start to (accidentally) publish dates and other info. So while its quiet, expect no announcement the day after.
  7. I'm still sitting on the side that there will be no tour,bearing in mind Bono's recent health issues and pretty vigourous touring schedule surely the best thing is for the B-Man to rest up for the next U2 chapter.
    One thing i cling to is this is U2 and U2 are very unpredictable so just maybe.
    Personally i think its gonna be a world tour for the next album that will involve Aus/NZ maybe 2020/21.

    The more it goes on the less likely it looks. However, we've got a lot of information about this tour. Nearly all of the cities, some dates and even who the support band is. That is keeping the dream alive!
  9. On the resting up part I think they’ll have already had a good rest prior to these shows if they happen. Then once the tour is complete they’ll probably go back and have a little more rest. I can’t see them getting straight back into the studio on the back of this tour. They’ll be refreshed and ready to go by the time this tour comes around anyway, resting up can only benefit you for so long before it’s time to get on with things again.
  10. The band have form for not announcing tours even when they are at a very advanced stage of planning : the 2002 European Stadium Leg, for example!
