1. I just signed up for Ticketmaster Australia with no problem. Think you need to create a new account for each country you're planning to go to. I currently have Ticketmaster accounts for .co.uk, .ie and .au.
  2. U2 tickets have been purchased through Ticketek, not Ticket Master for previous tours (360, Vertigo, Popmart and ZooTV) at all of their Sydney concerts.

Also Noel Gallagher mentionedin an interview in the last day or so that he was winding up his 2019 with tour date in Australia in November.
  3. Maybe there was no Ticketmaster platform in Australia in 2010 yet?
If there is TM in a country, I‘m sure they sell on this platform, at least the presale will be exclusively on TM platform.

Ticketmaster has been operating in Australia since 1995
  5. Ticketing agencies have contracts for different venues, so you may find Ticketek selling some shows and Ticketmaster others. With Metallica for example, Ticketek is the agency for the Adelaide Oval but Tickmaster is doing everywhere else.

Ticketek was also the agency in Sydney for Under Australian Skies (1984) and LoveTown (1989). I have fond memories of queuing up from the early morning at their outlets...none of this online business and pre-sale codes back then! We used to be able to gauge demand by how far the line extended and sometimes you would hope that a second show was added by the time it was your turn :-)

PC, tablet, phone with your kids, granny and neighbor.
  8. My question of yesterday again: anyone an idea who could be the ticket seller in Singapore? There is no Ticketmaster, but Live Nation ticket selling. Did LN do the U2 tickets presale in any country in the past? I don't think so.

And yes there has been a Live Nation pre-sale in the past.

Obviously tickets will be sold through some online outlet, not mail order form.

Tickets will drop anyway for these big stadium shows.
