Joshua Tree Tour 2019
Legs (1): New Zealand, Australia and Asia
Shows: 15
  1. Since the band signed with Live Nation on the 360 tour they probably aren't taking as much of a financial hit as they did on Popmart and Zoo TV where they had to pay for and organize tours themselves alongside individual promoters but if this is a continuation of the 2017 tour then it's a win win for them.

I guess it also depends on the ticket prices. I'm pretty sure the Stones do better than break-even with their No Filter Tour (2017, 2018 & 2019). These legs consist of approximately 17 shows and their ticket prices are a often heard complaint.

Yes, I’ve heard (and made) that complaint myself.
Stones fans should just be happy to pay their $1600 per ticket to be in the pit in front of the stage!

That’s not face value for pit though. Ticketmaster jacks up the price. The face value of pit tickets is 500USD.
  4. It’s a very sad state of affairs when a pit ticket is only 500 USD. Even worse when it isn’t even possible to get the ticket for that price because of the seller.

I’d love to see them, but I don’t feel like remortgaging my house just to get a ticket worth having. The concert industry, in conjunction with pliant acts, is going to kill the golden goose someday...
  5. Sorry have lost track a bit today due to work.

Are we expecting anything tomorrow or maybe later this week?

Or is everything still an unknown?

Mainly everything is still unknown, but maybe next Monday?
  7. There isn't any official word until there is an official word.
  8. Every delay just crushes the hopes more and more. btw it's 5:47am (Tuesday) in Sydney, hope we can hear something good very soon...

I think radio stations had stated it would be delayed til next week. Not that it means it couldn’t happen before then but I’d tend to believe that . Announcements of any sort are usually likely to happen later rather than sooner than you think.
