Joshua Tree Tour 2019
Legs (1): New Zealand, Australia and Asia
Shows: 15
  1. Well... raise... anyone here to share cost of road-trip across Australia: Brisbane-Perth? Me + wife.
No shows in-between, just country seeing.
  2. Will probably wait a bit to book my flight to Tokyo.

Maybe we should open a topic for that, there are many fans who are open to share accomodations or costs for cars etc.

I was ready on flights and hotels at the last expected announcement and both had sale prices. Sale finished for both now!

Will confirm hotel pretty much as soon as announcement made, before price rockets. Sort the rest after.

First tickets and then flights. Hotel already booked for Seoel
  6. That was a bit of a search right? Without Google Maps it was a bit harder to figure out hotels nearby etc.

  7. Are you going to see the entire tour? Nice
I would love to, but I can't stay away any longer than 4 weeks, and even these 4 weeks is what my boss does not know yet
Originally I planned to start with NZ and end with Singapore, but then I decided I prefer to see the last concert(s) in Seoul cause this might be the last concerts for a very very very long time. So I switched my plans to starting with Melbourne and ending in Seoul.

I'm travelling along but not doing the whole tour. I've decided to skip Singapore (very expensive, not very appealing to me as a city) and will probably skip one of each in Sydney and Melbourne to spend more time sightseeing. Never been there so don't want to spend it all on seeing stadiums.

Haha nice! I know, it's been hard arranging this. I do have to work in between remotely, which is fine. My girlfriend joins me for 3 weeks too so that'll be great.

I've had flights booked from London to Tokyo and Seoul to London for several weeks now . They are however Avios rewards flights so I would lose about 30 GBP on each leg were I to cancel them. Worth the risk for me as quotas on these flights were filling up.

My flexible hotel rooms have also been booked for ages .

I booked using frequent flyer miles and can cancel and redoposit with no fees if necessary
  11. Already booked the hotel for Seoul too.

Lotte Hotels and Resorts is a South Korean luxury hotel chain operated by Lotte Hotel Co., Ltd. Great location and facilities, Recommend to everyone who plan to go to South Korea.

Yep, I too have noticed the limitations of Google Maps in Korea
