My thoughts too - LWTSS (no doubt because we associate different parts with the songs it spawned), great as it is, sounds more like a couple of songs jumbled together than one coherent entity, similar to Zooropa (which essentially is two different songs slapped together, but in a way that works).

Agree with everything you said here
  2. The best period for U2 when it comes to their b-side output is clearly the Joshua Tree era.

When else have they put out two or more original and high quality songs per single?

I think every other time before and after, the b-sides have been either live tracks or remixes.
  3. BOOMERANG.

    Hehe.

I have to say that tho...

I do know that there are loads of B-sides I' love.

    I adore U2 Dance Mixes.

The first one to knock me for six
    was
    Lemon
    U2 & Paul Oakenfield...
wit horny sexy female vocals too.

I found it stashed on the back of an old Portishead tape the other day....
Totally dodgy recording. ...but speakers get turned to UPPPPP.
    Hence crescendo of heaven.

    I love Salome..
    Dance Mix....

    Oh Baby Pleaseeeeeee.

    Baby.....

All the B sides on 1990-2000.
    Different and totally unique.

    Ive got a mean moody
    Night&Day
    on
    Red Hot & Blue.
which I mix with inxs song.
    This is an album though

    which brings me to
    333

Ok so Vertigo is a record label
    and also
s notnice sensation of dizzyness sometimes caused by heights.

    So Vertigo makes records
    which they print ontovinyl.
    It's called a 33.1/3inch or 45
    or 12inch.

    So 333.

    The duration of the clap
between the thunder and the lightning
travels @33.3 per metre. or mile

Jesus died when he was 33.

    IWhen an Englishperson tries to
    mimick an Irish accent
    they always say :-
It was tirteey trreee & a tiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrd so it was> hehe.

I had a revelation that @ the age of 33 something big was going to happen.
When I became 33years3months old I gave birth to my son. To the day33yrs3months to the day.

My birthdate and birth reg number.

    So I guess that
    3
    is the
    magic number.

And there's more so there is...

  4. after reading a couple of her recent posts I think the same as you do, Casper
  5. It seems logical what Victoria says...her favorite number is obviously 3...
  6. We're obviously off-topic... xD
  7. I would have to go with Lady With the Spinning Head, Where Did It All Go Wrong and Salome.
  8. 1. Lady with the spinning head
    2.Spannish Eyes
    3.Sweetest Thing
    4. Holy Joe
    5.Summer Rain
  9. Satellite of Love for me. Great cover. The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby produced my favourite b-sides.
