True, NS and Glasto are good. EBW is also good, but its sounds too similar to NS without fullband.

  3. Yep, both songs share the same somewhat intimate mood. May not be a good mood for a single, but I like it.

Btw, I think Songs of Ascent shouldn't be called that. It's not rocky enough.

The first song of the new album should be a roaring and awesome BFFTS. Followed by 11 singles, of equal inspiration, elegance, intensity and power.

The B-sides of the 12 singles would contain, among others, NS and EBW.

Then U2 will be giving a free concert in Munich, where I will be living starting from the end of the month.

  4. the ohohoh part gives me goosebumps.
  5. its a ripper of a song, they r in good form of late, liking all the new stuff
  6. Really digging it. And how about the lyrics? Brilliant work B and E!
  7. This could have a really cool video too. I was picturing the guys playing while Bono walks down a darkened Broadway with perhaps a Spidey cameo?

Maybe for a future HTDAAB re-release: ''Sometimes Spidey, You Can't Make It On Your Own''.

We should have a thread for video ideas, and I do like Boy Falls From The Sky. Nice little tune - and I even like Glastonbury too. That needs to make a comeback.
  9. Pretty sure I haven't posted this here (sorry if I have!) but I was walking around Broadway the last Saturday night I was in New York a couple of weeks ago when I saw a poster that was relevant to my interests.

Weirdly, other than this poster outside the theatre, there didn't seem to be a lot of advertising for the show around.
  10. ohh that acoustic songs sounds interesting
