1. it will be great if theyll play "when i look at the world" and "walk on".
  2. Probaply Beautiful Day and Elevation.
I hope they will play Kite, In a Little While and When I look at the world too.
    I beg for it.
  3. They oughta replace SBS with Peace On Earth. (novel idea eh?)

I can see what you mean and yeah, definitely a novel idea, but I can't see it happening - thing is, the original way Bono wrote it, it's kinda similar in that it's quite a bitter song, same with SBS if only coming from different angles and contexts...
  5. Just getting kinda board with SBS.

me too. Then I saw U23D and I don't mind it again

When it's fairly upbeat and raw, I can handle it for sure but the Vertigo version is a bit downtempo, same with BTBS and it doesn't quite grab you in the same way...still great, but perhaps a bit overplayed if they keep the most recent arrangement...
  8. They oughta play it acoustic like they did for the Clinton library. That or do it Popmart or R&H style. I think these versions really capture the mood.

I agree about the Clinton library version, so raw and chilling (I use that word a lot but I think it's a fairly accurate description), although I think some of the Elevation performances really capture the mood too, in particular the one from the Slane DVD (:| @ Dan et al) with Bono reading out the names of those killed in Omagh really resonates...

Meh, even the best have their moments...

He did play the main hook differently, admittedly, although I still think it's a great performance...
