  1. Im in a posting mood tonite and I want to see all your different answers to a question I have. If you were onli able to listen to one collection of U2 songs (ie, a single bootleg or a single album) which would you choose? Would it be Achtung Baby over ZooTV Dublin? or Joshua Tree over Irving Plaza?.

    Tough one but i'd probably choose a bootleg, specifically Slane 2001-09-01 (DVD audio rip). How about you lot? the more opinions the better. Cant wait to hear from you all.

    how are you?

    I have all cds of U2 but I also have many boots here...I'd rather live songs than the verisons of the albums...so I'll choose a bootleg(ZooTV and Irving Plaza).I think that in the live versions we can feel all good energy that U2 have!

    October album - Ocotber concert
    War album - War concert
    Unforgettable Fire album - Unforgettable Fire concert
    Joshua Tree album - Joshua Tree concert
    Rattle And Hum album - Lovetown concert
    Achtung Baby album - Zoo TV concert
    PoP album - PoP concert
    ATYCLB album - Elevation concert
    HTDAAB album - Vertigo concert

    That are my elections.
  5. If I had to take just one thing, the album would be Achtung Baby.

    The bootleg would be Vertigo Tour, simply because it has the largest breadth of songs on there. So a decent one like Saitama, Brazil etc. There are better bootlegs, better concerts, but they don't have the recent songs.

    To choose between the two, I'd take the bootleg for the variety and atmosphere.
  6. My choice.............. Elevation Tour,Gund Arena,Cleveland,Ohio - 3rd May 2001

    ....but Elevation Tour,Madison Square Garden,New York - 25th October 2001 is a very,very close second......




  7. ATYCLB, Slane Castle DVD and audio rip, Boston DVD and audio rip and Achtung Baby, Joshua Tree are diamonds for me...Point Depot is also a beauty.

    Hard to disagree with that selection but I'd also add RDS, Dublin from 1993.08.28 and Sarajevo on 1997.09.23.

    I'd take the PopMart Mexico City bootleg over the Pop album for sure....and i LOVE Pop!

    Guess that shows how much i love that bootleg, huh?
