    Does anyone know for sure if U2 will headline Glastenbury in 2011?

    I notice U2 have gigs in USA on 20th & 23rd July, with Glastenbury on 22nd - 24th July. This leaves a very small window of 22nd July and 24th July if they wanted to play the festival.

    Of course the dates have not been officially announced yet for Glastenbury 2011, but rumour boards suggest this will be the dates.

    Also, if U2 perform on 24th July, is it inconceievable that they may play some extra dates in UK which has been ignored this year on European leg (which I cannot understand why).

Speculation is rife that U2 will be on of the 3 biggest bands in the world to play the 2011 Glastenbury festival (Qoute my festival owner Michael Evis about 2 weeks ago) - so you think that linking it to this topic where the last decent post was posted in 2007 would be a good idea!

    OK, I dont run web sites, but I guess there is method in your madness.

    What does everyone think? - will they make up for this year and play the festival?

    Yeah, but there's already a topic for it so why keep making more? Just confuses people and wastes space. Also keeps the place tidy.

    But nah, I'm just gonna wait for an announcement about Glastonbury. I don't really see them playing it but there is a chance they'll try and make up for it.
  11. It is almost inpossible with the tour dates like someone said before, so I think its not gonna happen. Maybe they could play on Pinkpop in Holland next year
