    did you see what happened during the Koningindag today? I just saw it on the news... that car that drove through the barriers and hit several people. Cameras were showing the immediate accident - 2 persons are supposed to be dead... what a sad sad day

    4 Dead and 13 wounded are the latest numbers 5 of those are heavily wounded. The driver knew what he was doing and he seemed to be fully responsible for his actions. (According to the press conference)

    Might be the end of Queensday in the form we all knew it here

  4. This is horrible....I've seen the footage on TV and what you see there is really frightening.

    Man!! And like Risto said: this probably is the last time we celebrate Queen's DAy in this fashion.

    Could well be that Bono will dedicate a song to the victims during one of the evenings in the ArenA, you know.

    It seems the man who was driving the car, btw, is in critical condition himself.
    If you look at the damage of that car, it's really frightening: the damage on the rooftop of that car doesn't come from the impact on the monument....if you know what I mean.

  9. Driver is 'brain' dead according to some sources in his hospital. Also they report that his treatment has been stopped.

    2 man and 2 women died. With still 5 persons in critical condition


  10. Deze foto is echt direct genomen nadat hij tegen de naald aangebotst is. De man die je op de achtergrond ziet zie nl ook terug in de filmpjes/

    5e dode, niet de dader. Hopelijk blijft de rest van de gewonden in leven inclusief de dader zelf, want die verdient een celstraf en niet de makkelijke weg.
  11. Drama vandaag inderdaad. Zag het live gebeuren toen ik net mn nest uit kwam rollen om 11:45..zat meteen 2 uur voor de buis. Later nog erge filmpjes gezien van het gebeuren...niet normaal man
  12. Ja, deze man moet wel in leven blijven...ik denk dat zijn medegevangenen hele leuke verrassinkjes voor hem in petto hebben voor de komende 30 jaar

    De foto vind ik overigens smakeloos
