  5. That's me on the right.
  6. That cold, Kieran?

Weather here - a bit cold for 6.31am.
  7. I was in town today, and it was cold & raining + only wearing a hoodie on top of my t-shirt. The central heating is on in the house, which makes it a lot better

  8. The classical example of someone who actually writes his smileys, and does not click on them. It's happened to us all, writing M: or :p ... hahaha

Haha, I was hoping that someone wouldn't notice
  10. we had some lovely sunshine today, 18°C.

but then.... some of you know I live in the countryside. You watch and listen to nature when you live here.
Today the wild cranes left. Huge swarms of hundreds, no, thousands of cranes gathered in the sky, formed their typical "1" formation, and with loud cries, they flew south. The magical thing about that is, you hear them long before you see them, and they have long since disappeared on the horizon when you can still listen to their fading cries of good-bye.
It always happens on just one single day at this time of the year. Just on one day, their instinct tells them to leave. Which tells us humans, winter is coming now. Fall is over. When the wild birds leave, winter will take over within a week.

So today was a beautiful day. Sunshine, watching the birds.... knowing the day they return, spring will come with them

ps: these pics are not by me, but this is what we saw today. like every autumn, for generations past and to come.

  11. - 13 C, snowing...
