  6. Guys i dont know about all this. In my opinion i would not agree that we all need a god to believe in. Every single war at the moment in the world is fueled by religion, and people with crazy religious beliefs - dying for their beliefs dying for their god.
    I wonder would this still happen if nobody believed in god.
    Well im an Irish Catholic, and im not religious. Our religion has been nothing short of an embarrassment over the last 20 years in my country. Full of people killing each other over their beliefs, and full of priests guilty of molesting children.
    But saying that im not religious is not to say that im not a spiritual person. I do believe in god.
    But i would never kill or die for him, i mean what kind of god would want that?
    Sorry to put such downer on this topic, but i think it had to said.
  7. Technically I'm jewish. But I don't believe in God. And I don't think that anybody needs to believe in God.
    Believe in what you want, but do it privately.

    I prefer to shout it out loud. If people can shout for rock stars and football clubs, why not for their God? As long as they don't start to fight, slander, hurt and kill each other, of course. I like the Coexist idea. No matter what we believe in, we can still be friends.

    Your words are very deep and serious and what you said sounds right. I perfectly understand your rethorical question, it represents an important doubt of our society. Anyway I wouldn't put the topic in these way, because I think that every man who kills for God does not really believe in God. As Bono says "God is Love", so it's absurd to make bad actions FOR God. For this reason I think that religion is not a problem for society if people understand which is the RIGHT way to live religion. So the problem is (as usual) provoked by men...
