  2. finally got to see batman - the dark knight.

    a good movie, but not a brilliant one (also, it was too long for my taste. I don't mind 3h long movies, but then they better be awesome.. like lotr ), guess heath ledger really did play a big part in making this movie so popular (and well, he deserves the praise. he was great), but if ledger hadn't played the joker the movie'd have been average, imo.

    besides ledger, gary oldman did a decent job, but christian bale, michael caine and maggie gyllenhaal? oh dear..


    ordered 4 dvds the past few days btw, hope they'll arrive soon and I got something new to watch

  5. The King of Kong- A Fistful of Quarters. One of the most entertaining docs I have ever seen. I urge everyone to rent this. You won't be disappointed!

    Meh, don't watch crap TV and besides, I for one won't complain about the small details!

  10. Today evening I watched U2 GO HOME: Live from Slane Castle in order to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the concert.

    PS. Freaky-fan note: I synchronised the DVD playing with the actual timing of the show, so all I was seeing was exactly 7 years old.. until Mysterious Ways! Why did they put that song as a Bonus Track?? Doesnt make any sense for me... ¬¬

    Hmm, swear you posted this on GC mate lol...but yeah, it does seem slightly odd. I don't get what's with a whole load of their decisions re. DVD releases, such as the complete mishmash they gave to most of them - save for the legalities surrounding TTTYAATW and its subsequent drop from the Sydney DVD, why;

    a) record 3 nights in Boston and then mix and match? Whatever happened to the good old days of just filming a show and releasing it? Same with;
    b) Milan - what's the gig with having only 10 songs, not to mention pissing around with the order and having WOWY closing...
    c) Chicago - what gives with not inc. Party Girl and just having a whole night on film?

    This really should have gone in the DVDs topic lol...
