a good movie, but not a brilliant one (also, it was too long for my taste. I don't mind 3h long movies, but then they better be awesome.. like lotr ), guess heath ledger really did play a big part in making this movie so popular (and well, he deserves the praise. he was great), but if ledger hadn't played the joker the movie'd have been average, imo.

besides ledger, gary oldman did a decent job, but christian bale, michael caine and maggie gyllenhaal? oh dear..
