1. Long Post...

Five movies over a five day period from Friday to Yesterday (Tuesday):

    "Bug" (2006)

A regular horror film, right?... right?!

    I am the super-mother bug!

    ---

    "Nosferatu" (1922)

The essence of Gothic horror right here. Owns Dracula -- forever.

It will cost you sweat and tears, and perhaps... a little blood.

    ---

    "Notorious" (1946)

Hitchcock still makes many directors today seem lame. Also, this movie makes you never want to drink coffee ever again.

A man doesn't tell a woman what to do; she tells herself.

    ---

    "Elizabeth" (1998)

In preparation for the continuation film, "Elizabeth: The Golden Age." From a spirited young woman to a royal leader.

I will have one mistress here... and no master.

    ---

    "Away from Her" (2006)

At least four people in this film deserve accolades for their performances, as well as massive props for treating the effect of a person's Alzheimer's very honestly and sympathetically without being heavy-handed or stupid.

It's never too late to become what you might have been.

    Fin.

And what is it with him and feet.

BTW, to get back on topic; The Graduate (Just on TV now)

Tarantino's movies are a bit heavy I agree, but they are great.
John Tavolta, Bruce Willis on Pulp Fiction...great stuff.
And besides, who doesn't love some feet?
  3. Mean Girls (on DVD)

    Average.

    Lohan's a hotty though....

ok whoever said Independence Day was terrible can fuck off! Its a balls to the wall action flick w/ some great set design.

Can I think of more ways to think of why Paul Greengrass is truly amazing... No, I can't.

Issue a standing kill order on Jason Bourne, effective immediately.

"The Night of the Hunter" (1955)

Creepy... very creepy... like a nightmare.

Would you like me to tell you the little story of right-hand/left-hand? The story of good and evil?

reclinerman i love your avatar would, you mind explaining it to me?

I usually like making making avatars featuring two people side by side. This avatar in particular features The Edge (in U2: Rattle and Hum) and Faye Valentine (my favorite character from the brilliant anime, Cowboy Bebop). They represent the people who are amazing in their respective groups, but don't get as much credit as the group's main focal point -- in this case, Bono and Spike Spiegel (even though they are both amazing as well). Hope that helps and thanks for the compliment, Macphistfly.

    ---

    "Across the Universe" (2007)

Wait... what happened... how did I get here... how did I end up back home... what a trip...

Is there anybody going to listen to my story, all about the girl who came to stay...
  11. The Bourne Supremacy.

    Awsome.

But their is not a TOuch of Robert Ludlum's magic. Almost nothing ressembeling to the book.
And my favorite carachter died in the FIRST movie. When he was sooo important in the 3rd one (R.I.P ALex Conklin .. the C.I.A dude whi gets shoot down)

If you're looking for a good riter, Robert Ludlum is your man. Simply BRILLANT !!
