They are shit, but they're shit that I love, if that makes any sense. I enjoyed those books when I was younger, I have fond memories of them, so watching the movies gives me a bit of nostalgia, y'know?

Hmm, I dunno, I don't really dig the films. I loved the books until I got to about 14? Prisoner of Azkaban was the pinnacle for me, after that I just lost interest. And hang on, "when I was younger" !? You're 14 matey, YOU'RE STILL YOUNG! lol. Young people these days...

POA was definitely the best book, can't top that one. The movies are alright, but after having read the books, I feel obligated to go see them![]()

Aha, I know the feeling. Problem is, I know I'm gonna be disappointed even before hand, not that I go in with any kind of mindset, I try and enjoy them but I've already got my own ideas for the books etc., and the films just provide an unwanted contrast. And what I was getting at was that you were sounding like some old fogey with "when I was younger" lolI don't doubt you were younger then, that's kinda how it works lol, but yeah, anywaaaaaaaaaaaaaay...

thought this movie was quite good. better than the 5th one for sure.
some things felt a little rushed again, they left out an important scene here and there, but there were some really powerful ones that made up for it. very intense mood throughout the film. and really had to suppress a tear here and there.. despised dumbledore after the 7th book, but when he died (or had to drink that potion) I couldn't help getting watery eyes
