I love Lion King!!! That's my movie!
Toy Story is sweet, so is Monsters Inc, but Lion King just kicks all kinds of ass.
Best Pixar movie is Finding Nemo, IMO_O_
  2. A Walk To Remember with my girlfriend...standard romantic stuff

I have yet to see Finding Nemo.
Everyone I know who has seen it (adults AND kids) all rave about it. I think I'll go rent it this weekend....well, if I can find it. The Hollywood video closed permenantly. And those red box things I'm sure don't have it. Crap.

  4. Standard "Chick Flick".
That movie was so freaking sappy it made me sick.

Oh noes! Finding Nemo is definitely worth looking around for, great film.
  6. The Mist

Wicked film, sad and somehow unright end. Enjoyed it though.
  7. Watching Carlitos Way right now. Great film, Pacino is immense in it.
  8. The Matrix trilogy, back to back, on Blu Ray. Unreal
  9. Matrix I is one of the best movies ever made. The two others are good too, but first one is just

Is Blu-Ray that good? I never saw a movie on it (just played a friend's PS3 a few times but didn't notica a major differernce).

Blu Ray is that good. Does your friend have a good TV? And does he connect his ps3 to the tv via a HDMI cable?

Video runs at up to 40mb/s so you can get an idea of the quality just by seeing those data rates

54 inches and HDMI connection, indeed. Call Of Duty looks insane on that TV

I know the tech specifications, but I just didn't notice a significative difference. Maybe I'm just dull, or maybe it's just because I've just played videogames and not seen an actual movie or the normal tv itself.

Is the normal image//bluray difference similar to the mp3//flac ?

What blu ray did you watch?

On a good transfer the differences are like going from a wind up radio in a basement to FLAC.

To really appreciate blu ray though, you have to put the standard def version on after. Blu ray looks 'normal to me now' and everything else looks like shit
