1. "The Proposal", with my girlfriend. Average chick-flick, nothing special whatsoever. Laughed once or twice.
  2. There Will Be Blood

My God. Day-Lewis is a genius.
  3. Gran Torino

    8.5/10
  4. Avatar. Good. Not brilliant.
  5. Brothers
Weak movie; slow, long, boring storyline

  6. It's so hyped that I have to think it's nothing but a piece of utter crap. There's no 3D cinema in the area of 400 miles from here so I won't find out anyway...

You can see it in 2D too....

Those that have seen it - did you see it in 2 or 3D? From what I gather it's a 4-star film in 2D and a 5-star in 3D.

It's said to be the greatest movie of all times in terms of technology so I wouldn't want to miss out on 'the special factor' the film is supposed to have.

Last movie I sat and watched was "Bad Santa", in honor of it being Christmas/finals week, and I needed some de-stressing. Terrible movie, some funny/surprising lines.

I plan on watching "Good Will Hunting" either tomorrow or Wednesday night, to put me in an excellent mood for Christmas since school will be out.

  10. I just didn't care much for the way it looked, whether it was some technological masterpiece or not- didn't mean to sound like I was waving you off or anything. It just doesn't interest me.
