Those that have seen it - did you see it in 2 or 3D? From what I gather it's a 4-star film in 2D and a 5-star in 3D.
I saw it in 3D and it still ain't 5 stars IMO. Not by a long shot.
It's visually impressive. Probably unmatched in that regard.
But the script is ordinary and there's no way it should be 3 hours long. The storyline doesn't warrant 3 hours. They could have told it in 2 hours easy.
Film makers these days don't know how to edit. They try to pass an un-edited film as an epic. Every second move is "epic" these days. It's like the Tranformers sequel. Why in the world would anyone make a movie like that so long?
