  2. James Cameron always seems to amaze me. Terminator, Titanic (haven't seen Avatar yet, though).
    His movies always cost a fortune (speaking of Haiti ), but they always bring back a tenfold of the amount his movies cost.

  3. Oh, yeah. Jesus, yeah, especially in 3D. It's just Cameron's no great shakes as a story teller, at least as far as plot, dialogue and characterisation are concerned (look at Jack and Rose in Titanic). Where he excels, however, is in delivering action and new film making techniques. And Avatar delivers (when not overdoing the mushy gubbins) in this respect, and delivers in spades.

    thanks to your input, I've just come back from watching it great experience in 3D, and the story was okay, too. The effects were amazing. Good movie, enjoyed it
