    Sex and the City 2. 98% of you all on here probably weren't going to see it anyway, but for those who were or have girlfriends who want to see it...it was bad. Just awful. I liked the first movie even though I didn't really follow the series, but it seems like they just stretched out the series too long with this one. I'd like my $8 and two and a half hours back.


    Is it that bad?I heard it was good.


  2. Oh yeah. For me it was, at least. The first one was fine because it was very much like the show, kind of shallow but still fun to watch, but this one...it takes them into married life, and for the entire 2 1/2 hours it was literally watching these women who were once in their early 30s when it's ok to be somewhat shallow discuss marriage as now-boring 40 year olds. It was almost like the start of a new series rather than the completion or the continuation of the old one.

    Second half = so so
    Last five minutes = hilarious

  5. Finally watched "Up." Absolutely brilliant and reminded me why I have both children and a Blu-Ray player/HD TV. Sublime

    I honestly didn't expect much from it.


  8. Same here. Just watched Wall-e on blu-ray and I got shocked with the image's quality!

    Watched Rush Hour yesterday. Was with a bunch of friends and it was on tv. Quite good actually.
  12. Watched "Tron" the other night as promised; 3.5/5

    Invictus, last night. I felt that the movie was great- inspirational, very well acted, accurate to my knowledge, and entertaining, but there wasn't really any climactic delivery. I understand that sometimes, in historical accuracy being maintained, there isn't a lot of room for build that could ruin integrity, but as my friend said last night, "Everything sort of just...happened." Finding out why the movie was called "Invictus" and the "story" behind that was moving, though.
