1. I watched Black Swan some days ago with my girlfriend. She's passionate about ballet since she was a small girl, Tchaikovsky is my favorite classical composer, and Natalie Portman is the favorite actress of both of us, so it was a perfect combination. Another vehement recommendation from my side

'Tis a lot of work, granted, lot to follow but it's worth it. My mum got into it when she was diagnosed with chronic fatigue, but I got hooked during the summer break between 2nd year of uni. and this year, it's compelling stuff.

I can't even bring myself to pick out any flaws - sometimes I get confused with this reality and the one where Jed Bartlett is actually president. Too quirky to think how the elections in Season 7 and 2008's Obama/McCain one paralleled.
  3. For A Fistful Of Dollars.

  5. Dinner for Schmucks. I felt like a "schmuck" after spending nearly two hours watching it. Why do I get sucked into these types of movies??!?!?!?!?

Six Feet Under is one of the great HBO series. Also recommended viewing is The Wire (also HBO). Arguably better than hits like Mad Men and The Sopranos. I did say "arguably" - not that I really feel like arguing about it.

You don't have to feel like a schmuck for getting "sucked in" to a movie that was billed as a dumb comedy..
  8. Battle LA, top class flick, not realy a movie but a marathon 24, season 1,2 8. all jacked out.
  9. I spit on your grave (unrated).
  10. Jackass 3D
  11. just finished "Michael Collins".

great movie. If you've an interest in Irish history, I can only recommend it. Shows the story of Irishman Michael Collins from the Easter Rising in 1916 until his death in 1922. A bit of historical background info helps you wonders to fully sort in all of the characters as well as IRA, IRB, Irish Volunteers etc. I'm always critical of movies dealing with historic events, but this one is done very well. Recommended.
Liam Neeson as Collins, Alan Rickman as Eamon de Valera, both doing a superb job
