I'm a huge fan of the books (read them at least five times) and I know the movie doesn't come close to how good the books are, but it still is a great movie. I'll never forget seeing it several times in theaters. It was about as good of a job that they could have done adapting these epic books (unlike the Harry Potter movies).

Both the books and the movies are great.
  2. Rubber - One of the most insane films I've for some time. But I had to see how it finished.
  3. Unforgiven.

  4. Watched Something Borrowed - with my wife, I swear - the other night. Why do they have to keep making these "rom coms?" They can;t be that profitable, can they?

I've also been catching up on Season 4 of "Breaking Bad" - awesome show.
  5. Amelie
    The Inbetweeners Movie
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

All at least 8 out or 10, OFOTCN probably a bit higher though.
  6. Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Nice movie, not exactly what I thought it would be like, but much better! 4/5
  7. Just watched Back to the Future again, after my brother gave me the box set as a present from his recent holiday in Ireland. Such a great film.

"Wait, so you say it's 8.25?"
    "Precisely!"
    "I'm late for school"

  8. It's so fucking great! ^
  9. rise of the planet of the apes

  10. Despicable Me

Really nice since I'm in the mood of animations those days
  11. Annie Hall !

Woody Allen's great work there, and this one is shiny :

    -The universe is expanding !
  12. Watched The Inbetweeners Movie earlier in the week. Had low expectations that were quite simply bulldozered. Hardly groundbreaking, but brilliantly made. Genuine face-in-hands moments with so much in the way of laugh-out-louds, really feelgood stuff - a great way to spend 2 hours in the cinema.
