I want to see TWOWS but the three hour length frightens me a bit.

  5. I didn't notice the length to be honest. I was aware that it was three hours long, but it didn't drag at any point, unlike American Hustle for example which was shorter and fell away a bit in the middle.

Oh, and I had to remove that link
  6. I watched 12 Years a Slave recently...some nasty stuff (what happened in reality, not the movie itself).
  7. Her

Arguably the most thought-provoking movie of the past year.
  8. The Wolf of Wall Street in the cinema, the other day. Great movie. Downloaded Captain Phillips, will see that one soon. Rather good rating on IMDB (8.1).
  9. Just watched Tucker & Dale vs Evil. I had such a great time, and I didn't expect it at all ! Very clever and funny movie

  10. Don't be. It's pretty entertaining. Little depth.

  11. I saw it last night. Excellent film, though as you say, knowing that it's based on real events and seeing the dedications at the end, it is quite moving. Also worth mentioning the soundtrack by a forum favourite, Explosions in the Sky.
