    I can't speak for the Harry Potter series since I didn't read the last book, but I actually thought the way they split the Hunger Games actually made sense. The book itself lends itself to be split where it was with a more plot heavy first half and an action heavy second half.

    I'm still confused as to how The Hobbit was split into three movies because that book doesn't have enough content for that to work.

    Glad to be in agreeance with someone on this…Boogie Nights and Magnolia are certainly my favorites by PTA.


  4. Most people I've talked to said that a major highlight of the Hobbit movies was the copious amounts of Legolas fan service. I have yet to see the last one, but based on the first two I have to agree with them.

  8. Gone Girl. I'm one of those that hated the ending. Never read the book or had any knowledge of it.

    All of the Marvel films are top notch. I won't get into the internal rankings because each one has a different feel, but the fact that they are all connect through the Avengers is pretty amazing.
