They were just scared, weren't they? The film starts slowly though, with that relationship chatter..

    Anyway:

    Mr. and Mrs.Smith

IMHO, the best of the Indiana Jones movies was "Raiders of the Lost Ark"...."Last Crusade" is a ways behind that, and then "Temple of Doom" is light years behind that. Shouldn't have been made in the state it was in. The Short-Round character is horrible, and Kate Capshaw's female-lead is unwatchable. (she also just happens to be the director's wife....) All she does is scream and get grossed out by things in the jungle. Indiana Jones would never fall for a woman like that. (am I taking this a little too seriously? Probably so.)
  10. The Kite Runner. One of the best movies in years.

I will take your points and agree fully. However, I think it is still a strong film, especially if compared to others in it's genre (Mummy etc). The action sequences show the increase in funding from Raiders. Rollercoaster is corking. And I actually quite like Short-Round.

    Raiders is peerless though.

Now there's two of us taking it too seriously...

What do you think about Crystal Skull then? Worried/excited/couldn't care less/wish they'd not bothered??

Crystal Skull with Harrison in it's seventies (or sixties, whatever..)...don't expect that much..
