  8. The Golden Compass - thought it was good fun, only bit that got me was that Christopher Lee was listed on the credits on the back of the case, yet only featured in one scene and about 2 lines in the entire film!

    Legendary film

    Just watched "The Island" with Ewan McGregor and Scarlet Johansson - it's going up there with V for Vendetta and Sunshine as one of my favourite films. Stunning. Action thriller with a message beneath it all...

    (PS - Sunshine doesn't necessarily make you think philosophically or whatever which I generally have as part of the criteria for a favourite film, but having watched it the day it was released in cinemas last year, I was blown away by everything about it lol. Awesome film!)
