and yeah the hp ones leave out so much oh well, don't care that much anymore, since I lost almost all interest after crappy number 7..

I got fed up with them after the 3rd book lol, but read them anyway out of a sense of duty, considering they'd been bought for me as presents lol.

3 was the most interesting imo. 4 and 5 were both just overlong, but 5 was better than 4, because it got some more depth. 6 was really exciting, but then it all got shallow and plain silly in the last book and they are making two movies of that one, oh my..

lol, I was quite amused by the way everyone just died, it was like "what the fuck?" - I don't mean I liked people dying, it was just as if JK Rowling had got stuck for ideas and thought, "ha, I know what I'll do, I'll do what other storytellers do when they're in a rut - I'll kill a few people!"

haha, yeah. she was just so out of ideas, it was like a slap in the reader's face.
and the entire ending was just bad fanfiction way to go, jkr.

Oh yeah, "hey look, everyone's married with lots of children and we're all happy happy and we've called our kids after all the important characters WHO GOT KILLED just a few pages ago."

    lol.

However, I thought the same thing about "The Happening" but that's apparently a load of bollocks. I keep forgetting about a lot of M. Night Shymalan films, some of them are crap - Signs was good though, I watched The Village recently and thought that was ok and Lady In The Water was surprisingly alright in my opinion, but Shattered? God, talk about wanting to take up self-harm...

Ha, books are so much better (as long as you're up for a lot of reading!) - that said, films are pretty tasty. Better than the Harry Potter adaptations...

The Mist seems cool indeed. Shyamalan had never convinced me of his talent. Signs was okay, the Sixt Sence way too weird and the rest is not worth mentioning it.
  8. Not a movie, but I just rented and watched the first two seasons of Weeds. That is one out there show. As soon as Blockbuster opens its on to season 3.
  9. Kung fu panda - had to go with my sister's children and i quite enjoyed it
  10. Watched both Boston and Slane DVDs last night - didn't sleep as a result though lol.
