1. Saw Wall-E last Monday, The Dark Knight on Saturday and The Dark Knight again today.

Wall-E was ace, I must say. However, The Dark Knight surpassed all expectations. Simply great. Have to agree that the Joker was superbly played by Heath Ledger. I was expecting an average performance really as all the hype came around because of his death and everything but oh my god, he was fantastic. Well worth seeing.

I think the Riddler would be too cartoony and silly for this series. These movies are too dark and serious for the Riddler. Penguin's a better fit but not the deformed character like the old one.

The Joker was silly though until he had the Heath makeover. Look at it in comparison to Jacks attempt. I'm sure they could maybe manipulate the Riddler into something good

Yep. David Tennant could be good (bit obscure though...)

EDIT - judging by Gerard's comments, I assume it is...

    Indeed sir

could he handle the big stage of the back of Dr Who?

I can't really rate him as I just do not get Dr Who at all

he's a good enough actor, for sure. Not sure he's enough of a 'name' though.

Hugh Laurie might be upto it and the Yanks certainly know him now.

Just, please God, not Jim Carrey again

I think they wouldn't go with someone who's a comedy guy. Probably someone who's considered a character actor who could bring his own personality and interpretation to the role.....

Is anyone else a little confused about Two Face's demise? I thought they'd keep him alive to make him the next villain in the next film, but I'm left with the impression that he's dead and gone, given that they had a public funeral for him. Kind of cheapens the character that he really only had about 20 minutes of being a bad guy before he died.....am I the only one in thinking this?
  8. You are right there matey. They could have made him a little more prominent as he was the jokers last card (no pun intended). He was good, the joker fairly manipulated him and almost turned him into his self but Two Face' role in the movie never got off its feet.
  9. Ocean's 12 and Ocean's 13, got the box set for my bday.

Also watched American History X the other day, powerful film, love Edward Norton

This Batman series does NOT kill off villains, particularly super-villains like Two Face. Harvey Dent being Two Face for just one day and then dying? No way. The story writers and the director would not let that happen. Two Face is up there with the Joker in the comic books as Batman's arch-rival. Oh shit, I'm showing my geekiness now.
  11. watched hancock last night, not a bad film, quite funny in places.

  12. anyone seen the new harry potter trailer?
