  1. I know U2 seems to be past the point of playing other performer's songs (except in snippet form), but if you could have U2 perform a cover of any song, what would it be?


    I've always thought they should do a cover of The Killers' "All These Things That I've Done." (Can't you picture Bono pointing at his "Soul" shoes and singing "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier?")
  2. Rain and C'mon Everybody have been my favourite covers to date. I'm absolutley stuck as to what I would like them to cover. I'll come up with something though

    But Bono would really make this even more beautiful... And he already song "You can HAVE it all" snippet, don't know if it was ment from this song though )

    Funny, when I was listening to my Johnny Cash-CD yesterday and Hurt was playing, I was thinking the exact same thing, wondering what U2 would make of this.

    There's lots of songs I would like to see them cover, just to name a few:

    Secret Garden - Bruce Springsteen
    Hanging by a Moment - Lifehouse
    Ashes - Embrace
    Rags 'n run - Admiral Freebee
    Mr. Brightside - The Killers
    A New England - Billy Brag
    Open Your Eyes - Snow Patrol
    Hard Times - The Scabs
    I Miss You - Blink 182
