they only stay on the tracker for so long and when they are gone we have to wait for a reseed. I'd love to have everything on here as 192kbps with full lineage but with 1000+ bootlegs it just ain't gonna happen.

i'm still not a big fan of it. I like studio lossless and the occasional bootleg but for most, anything over 128 will do

I actually never use it because it's so darn big...a simple gig would be loads of MB or even GB. My laptop doesn't have that much space, the main PC does though.

I couldn't handle all my bootlegs in lossless. No way. Just a few select ones and all the studio stuff

Call me a noob, but is there a way to import from the CD via iTunes and get it lossless?

Yep..like you said, any 192 bitrate MP3 or above would be fine.

Cool. The only problem is, much like Casper, I don't have the HD space.

Well, you can always buy an external hard drive. We have one, but my entire laptop is back-up on it together with some other stuff from the main PC.

try one album that you listen to a lot in mp3. Re-rip it in lossless and see if you can hear the difference. I can definitely pick up on the quality boost. The music has shit loads more depth. (I suggest trying Pop in lossless. Should come in at about 500mb)

Agreed But they aren't that expensive though. At least here in tiny Holland.
