    Yeah, sorry about that. I've been downloading all the shows I've been wanting to download before the day of reckoning (Rapidshare Restructure). So I've been really focused on that. By the way... you all can PM me if you have any other cool shows you want me to download.

    General Jots:

    --Both performances of Vertigo just owned. It's the brother to I Will Follow.
    --The Electric Co., in my opinion, is better on the Vertigo Tour than any of the other tours. This was no exception. Awesome.
    --No yell during New Year's Day? What's up with that?!
    --City of Blinding Lights is an amazing song live, though I hate it in the middle of the set, it's a better show opener. I hope on their next tour, it's an encore opener. (By the way, it's the brother to Streets)
    --The trinity of pain (aka Love and Peace or Else, Sunday Bloody Sunday and Bullet the Blue Sky) rocked also.
    --Streets and One are always holy songs in any show, as well as a chance to proclaim their love for each other. I love you, Adam Clayton!
    --Zoo Station & The Fly, same opinion as The Electric Co. although it varies more.
    --Yay! My Sweet Lord! Peace George Harrison.
    --I don't know the lyrics to Party Girl either, Bono!

    Final Thoughts:

    It's nice to hear a good audience bootleg of this tour. I want to hear more of them. Peace from Gelsenkirchen.

    Also, I love your thorough reviews. It's more than I do. I tend to focus more on performance.

  12. Quick Summary of Gelsenkirchen:-

    All seemed to agree that this is a very good sound quality (poss excpetion the bass and Larry's bass drum) audience recorded bootleg. Deserving of its 4-star review on this site.

    It contained some sonically sound performances but split the table in terms of the band's performance. Some found the performance average and forgettable; others seemed to like it more.
    So it's all a matter of taste.

    If you download this show you can be certain of good sound quality; you may or may not be blown away by U2's performance however.
