'Fraid I'm gonna give this one a miss guys, got exams starting next week, need to do shitloads of revision...anyone know anything about Roman Britain?

Read some books about the Romans...most interesting history for me. A mighty civilization brought to ruins by barbarians and inner conflicts. But I'll quit before I start rambling..

    Let's hear your review...

ok. thanks. and sorry again for the lateness!

1992-08-16 - Washington, District of Columbia - Robert F. Kennedy Stadium

    Sound

I liked the mix. well able to hear each instrument. maybe a little more drums would have been nice, the toms sound great in this.the lack of crowd noise is disapointing but since its a soundboard recording thats to be expected i suppose.a little bit of hiss here and there to but overall the sound was great and no major complaints from me.

    Performance

From Zoo Station to Until the end of the world this performance is superb. Then, New Years Day was pretty average, as was Tryin' To Throw........
Still Havnt just doesnt work like this and its obvious why they dont play it like this normally. i thought that was pretty crap to be honest.

The performance lifts again from here on but it still never reaches the heights of the opening songs with the exception of one more magic moment (Ultraviolet).

Overall: 7.5/10 - The AB tracks are great in this 1 and definetly worth a listen. As for the rest of the show, there's better performances of those songs.

Don't worry about the 2-star rating here at U2start. Our friend Casper was kind enough to remaster this show from the lossless FLAC files, if a crew member could update the links, I'd appreciate it.

Usual drill. You have until this Sunday (11th) to get hold of the show and let us know you plan to review it. Then you'll have until the 18th to post a review.

Please make sure you get the new links and also that you have the show before saying you'll post.

Daley - you never posted reviews for Washington. Please do not let this happen again, else you may have to be excluded from future Roundtable discussions.

Who else is in for Portland?

Looking forward to the next round guys...looks like Jeremy's picked a cracker. Are the new links up yet?
  9. Apologies guys for not posting a review guys, A-Levels got the better of me

Exams suck, especially those ones. Hope it all went ok (or going ok...).

In future, please just say you can't do it rather than say you will then not be able to. Better for everyone and less pressure for you.

If you've listened and would like to post your thoughts on Washington, I'm in a generous mood, so please feel free
