  1. Experiencing some trouble with the shows and stuff. Can't access a definitive list of shows I have. Can't add shows to my U2start profile when it says on the Audio page 2Add to your U2start profile" and some of the setlists seem a bit dodgy. for example.

    Sounds like a browser/JavaScript issue.
    Which browser do you use? By any chance disabled Javascript? (it's enabled by default) Do you have an alternative which you can try?

    Using Internet Explorer 8. Javascript etc all enabled.

    Same problem with Google Chrome.


  4. The setlist of the show above is just incorrect, there isn't just any setlist available for that show. Did fix that, thanks!

    For which shows do you experience the 'add show to your profile' issue? Do you have any error messages or other info?

    Well the setlist problem exists on more than just that one show, seen a few.

    The 'Add show to your profile' issue happened on both the Lyceum Ballroom (1980-09-07) and Taboo Club (1980-09-19). When I click it, it changed to 'bootleg added to your profile' or something along those lines, then when I head back to the Boy show page, the little square used to change colour to indicate a show that you owned, but this time it didn't. So I went back into the show to check I pressed "Add show..." (I was 100% certain anyway) but it said "Add show to your profile" again. So I tried adding it a few times but each time it failed.
  6. Maybe it has to do with the new managing system. I will check that out later this week.

    There is another way to add shows to your profile. Go to the boy tour page and press Manage Collection. Then tick the box next to the shows you want to add. It saves automatically

    We will fix the bug though!

  8. Is it an error that when I type U2 into the quick search, nothing comes up? I think that's pretty funny lol
  9. Think all queries shorter than 3 letters are ignored. This is because short words are not relevant in most cases.

    Also a search on 'U2' should return all shows / al topics / all songs / etc

    In short: its not a bug


  10. It only happens when I click on a link in the forums, e.g. that Ultimate Sound one in Active Topics at the moment.

    Otherwise I click shows on the top tabs and it works fine. Just weird - I can avoid doing it the other way but it's just odd. Oh and getting results for 1982 and 1981 shows showing me Zoo Station and The Fly played - is that the u2gigs database messing up again or something wrong with u2start? Just curious and thanks again.


  11. I had this very same thing occuring with the torrents section here a little while ago, it's fixed now though -- I don't know why or what caused it. But it happened to me as well, also with Firefox

    edit: I just went to the same site, "The Story So Far" and then on audio -- brings up the same messed site you got there. But I didn't follow a link inthe forums, I used the menu bar on top.

    It happened in IE8 too - I'm using Windows 7 but doesn't do it on other Windows systems. Odd but I'll live. Just weird that it does it every so often.

    Yeah that's the link it did it on. I noticed every one that has a www.u2start.com/shows/176/# on it (with a # at the end of the link) does it.
