1. All the early ones where it was all about the music.
  2. Zoo Tv
    Joshua Tree
    Vertigo
    Elevation
    Popmart

    My favourite ones
  3. Whilst I agree that Zoo TV and JT/Lovetown tours are undeniably amazing, I feel I can only really comment on the tours I've been to.
    So I would say:-

Popmart (I know it wasn't great in America but they'd nailed it by the time they got over here. F**ing amazing, I don't think you really get any idea from the boots. You had to experience it)

Vertigo (Not sure why this is so poorly thought of - they nailed nearly all the shows, Bono's voice came back, especially in the third leg, and there was good variation. I agree the Pride/One Africa stuff was a bit iver-rehearsed and dragged a bit, but it's an important message and our band have always been politically active)

Elevation (I just prefer the stadia. It was still an awesome concert, especially as it was the day Bob died. And we all love Slane)
  4. Zoo Tv beats Popmart any day!!

The best tours have to be (in no order) Elevation, Lovetown and Zoo Tv. I don't really have an opinion about the vertigo tour.

The Elevation tour was eventful wasn't it, with bono's father dying and 9/11. Was that also the same year when U2 made the front cover of time magazine?

I don't have any info about that. I thought the only time U2 had appeared on the Time's cover was the "Red Hottest Ticket" one. Anyone has any additional info?
  6. Elevation
